Segulah is an egalitarian, lay-led minyan. We're meeting both mornings of Rosh Hashanah with lunches after on both days, and for all services on Yom Kippur with a communal break-fast at the end. Davening is beautiful and spirited, and we'll have machzorim for everyone. Children are most welcome, and there'll be supervised child care for ages 0-12 at all times, as well as some children's services. There is a suggested donation, but absolutely no contribution is required to register. ALL are welcome, regardless of financial contribution.

Becoming a parent for the first time is exciting—but it can also feel overwhelming and isolating. Join New Moms Circle at the Bender JCC to find community and connection with others who are experiencing similar milestones and challenges. This group meets weekly and offers connection, encouragement, and practical guidance from your peers as you navigate the physical, emotional, and lifestyle changes that come with caring for a new baby. Light refreshments will be served. This group is designed for first-time parents with babies aged 0–9 months.

A two-part experience for couples of different faiths and cultural backgrounds to explore Shabbat as something we build together — in our own way. Two Voices, Four Elements Afternoon Tea Sunday, August 9 | 2:00 PM-4:00 PM | Pozez JCC A first gathering of conversation, reflection, and shared discovery. Together, we will explore Shabbat as a moment of pause and connection, and begin to notice how ideas of light, food, rest, and celebration appear across different cultures and traditions. It’s a space to slow down, share stories, and begin shaping what Shabbat could mean for each couple. Shabbat We Create Together: Dinner Friday, August 28 | 6:30 PM-9:00 PM | Pozez JCC A shared Shabbat evening around the table, where reflection becomes experience. Together, we will step into a lived Shabbat — shaped by the people in the room, the stories we bring, and the traditions we carry. It is an invitation to experience Shabbat not as something fixed, but as something we create together. Fee: $110 per JCC Member Couple/ $120 per Non-member Couple.
