Expanding Day School Access
Through the Lauder Impact Initiative, Federation works with Charles E. Smith Jewish Day School and Milton Gottesman Jewish Day School to identify family needs, invest in enrollment-focused programs, and share successful practices across the region.
With the support of generous donors, Federation has led a region-wide effort to prepare Greater Washington for a new federal income tax credit program expected in 2027. By convening Jewish day schools, the Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC), and other partners, we’re helping position our community to unlock new scholarship funding that could expand access to Jewish education and strengthen Jewish day schools across our region.
