Leadership Convening on Israel

November 1, 2023 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

We are thinking of you, your colleagues, family, and friends as we follow the situation in Israel and Gaza. We know how important it is to be in community in times like these, and hope to see you on November 1st for our next Federation and Shalom Hartman Institute Leadership Convening on Israel.

Given the current situation in Israel, Dr. Micah Goodman is no longer able to travel to the DC area. However, we are pleased to share that Dr. Yehuda Kurtzer, President of the Shalom Hartman Institute, will deliver our featured keynote. This invitation is not transferable, and space is limited.

Wednesday, November 1st | 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM ET
Dinner begins at 5:30 PM
Space is limited and location (DC) will be provided upon RSVP

Fill out my online form.

Questions? Contact us at [email protected] or 301-230-7200.

This convening builds on the momentum from our March 2023 Shared Destiny / Separate Paths: A Leadership Forum on Israel (you did not need to attend the Forum to join us in November). Our goal is to inspire actionable steps that articulate the Greater Washington Jewish community’s priorities and values for this moment in Israel.

The Jewish Federation of Greater Washington welcomes the participation of interfaith couples and families, and people of all abilities, backgrounds, gender identities, and sexual orientations. Building an inclusive community is a priority. If you or your family require special accommodations to participate in this virtual event, please contact us in advance at 301-230-7200 or [email protected] so every effort can be made to accommodate your needs.
