Our Values, Our Aspirations: A Jewish Communal Conversation with Yossi Klein Halevi

March 12, 2020 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm

IS THERE ANY CHANCE FOR PEACE?
An Israeli Writer Reaches Out to Palestinians

Yossi Klein Halevi, Senior Research Fellow and Co-Director of Muslim Leadership Initiative, Shalom Hartman Institute

Last year, Jerusalem writer Yossi Klein Halevi published his New York Times bestselling book, Letters to My Palestinian Neighbor, which seeks to explain Israel and Zionism to Palestinians and others in the Arab world. The book was translated into Arabic and offered for free download. The result has been surprising openings and a new dialogue over competing narratives.
