Please join us for a discussion facilitated by Dr. Ari Yares about managing anxiety in children during this time of uncertainty. We will explore what anxiety is, the difference between anxiety and stress, and how it manifests. We will also learn some practical, effective techniques for managing anxiety, including the importance of self-care, and some Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques for helping yourselves and your kids; as well as how to talk with your kids about COVID-19, and answer questions about cancellations and closures.
