Women’s Philanthropy International Mission
to Argentina and Uruguay
Sunday, March 31 – Sunday, April 7, 2024
Join us on a powerful and unique journey to Uruguay and Argentina, March 31 – April 7, 2024. This shared experience will offer insights into this South American Jewish community’s challenges and strengths, and provide an opportunity to build lasting friendships and community with other leaders from Greater Washington. We will also meet with our partners in the region and see the impact of our support. We look forward to being together and deepening our connection to our global Jewish community.
- $500 deposit per traveler required upon registration.
- Residence in the Greater Washington region.
- Valid passport for a minimum of six months from the start of the trip.
- Minimum gift of $5,000 (or household $10,000) to The Jewish Federation of Greater Washington’s Annual Campaign at the time of registration.
$6,699 per person for double occupancy room. Rate per person for single occupancy room is an additional $1,660. Cost does not include international airfare or insurance. Most meals are included.
Participation in this program requires a $5,000 individual or minimum $10,000 household gift to The Jewish Federation of Greater Washington’s Annual Campaign at the time of registration.
Participants are responsible for arranging their airfare and transportation to arrive in Buenos Aires by the morning of April 1, 2024.
Deposit: $500
Due at time of registration. The nonrefundable deposit will be applied towards your registration fee.
Through a generous funder, The Jewish Federation is able to provide travel subsidies for those under 45. Federation is able to provide the following subsidies:
- Age 40-45: $1,000 subsidy
- Age 30-39: $2,500 subsidy
- 29 and under: $3,000 subsidy
Buenos Aires: 6* nights at Park Hyatt Buenos Aires (including the night in which the group will go to Montevideo and the night of April 6th to access the room until the afternoon)
Montevideo: 1 night at Sofitel Montevideo
