Brad has direct responsibility for managing client relationships primarily working with foundations, endowments and nonprofit organizations. He works closely with clients to understand their goals and objectives; manage their investments, including impact investing; and integrate their investment strategy, philanthropy, and estate planning into a cohesive wealth management plan. Brad co-leads the firm’s impact investing strategy. He also designed and directly oversees the firm’s environmental sustainability impact theme.

Brad is a frequent speaker on impact investing, total portfolio activation and environmental investing topics. He is involved with the Global Impact Investing Network, Social Venture Partners, Confluence Philanthropy, Mission Investor’s Exchange, and a number of other effective organizations raising the efficacy of impact investing. Brad joined Tiedemann when the firm merged with Threshold Group, where he served as Director of Wealth Advisory.

He earned a Bachelor of Science in Applied Economics and Management from Cornell University and a Master of Environmental Management from Yale University. Originally from Massachusetts, Brad resides in Portland, Oregon, with his family.

Liz Michaels is Aperio’s Director of ESG/SRI, Chief of Staff and member of the Executive Committee. Prior to joining Aperio, Liz was responsible for the defined contribution managed accounts business at Ibbotson Associates, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Morningstar, Inc. Earlier in her career, she was the Chief Operating Officer of Morningstar, Inc. and served on the company’s executive committee. Liz was also the President of Jellyvision, Inc., an interactive firm best known for its game, You Don’t Know Jack™. Liz has a BA in Economics and an MBA from the University of Chicago.

Rabbi Jacob Siegel

As Director of Engagement at JLens, a network that explores a Jewish lens on investing, Rabbi Jacob Siegel works with Jewish communal leaders and institutions to bring Jewish leadership into the global impact investing arena. Rabbi Siegel helps guide institutions at every stage of the impact investing process. He received his rabbinic ordination from Yeshivat Chovevei Torah, a modern Orthodox rabbinical school in New York, his undergraduate degree in Mathematics from Washington University in St. Louis, and he spent a year at Israel’s Pardes Institute.

Lily S. Trager is an Executive Director and the Director of Investing with Impact for Morgan Stanley Wealth Management. For over a decade, she has dedicated her career to sustainable and impact investing. Lily joined the Firm in 2014; previously, from 2007 until 2014, Lily worked for Veris Wealth Partners in New York, a Registered Investment Advisory focused exclusively on serving clients with interest in sustainable and impact investing, most recently as Head of Research. Lily began her career at Cambridge Associates, where she worked on teams overseeing $3.9 billion in nonprofit, high-net-worth and foundation investment portfolios.

Lily was named to the 2018 class of MAKERS @ Morgan Stanley Wealth Management, a recognition that celebrates women who are ground breakers, advocates, and innovators in their given field.

Lily earner a M.B.A in Sustainable Business from Presidio Graduate School and her B.A. in Anthropology from Bates College. She also co-founded Women Investing for a Sustainable Economy (WISE), a professional networking group in New York City with chapters in Boston, DC, San Francisco, Toronto and London. Lily lives in Manhattan with her family.

Todd Rich is a Co-Founder and Head of Real Estate for Declaration Partners LP, an investment firm anchored by a commitment from David M. Rubenstein, the Co-Founder and Co-Executive Chairman of The Carlyle Group.  Todd brings over 15 years of real estate investing and operating experience including acquisitions, dispositions, development, leasing, and management of portfolios involving over $20 billion of institutional-quality real estate.  Prior to joining Declaration, Todd was a Partner at The JBG Companies and a member of its Investment and Management Committees, where he was involved in strategic efforts culminating in the creation of JBG SMITH Properties as a public REIT (NYSE: JBGS).  Previously, Todd was responsible for Tishman Speyer’s business activities in the Washington, D.C. region.  Todd also worked in Tishman Speyer’s Chicago, London, and New York offices.  Prior to his career in real estate, Todd worked for JPMorgan Partners in New York.

Todd holds a Bachelor’s degree, magna cum laude, from Princeton University, and was a U.S. Fulbright Scholar. Todd serves as a board member of The Economic Club of Washington, D.C., the SED Center, and the Jewish Federation of Greater Washington.
