As the Russian invasion of Ukraine enters its third week, the humanitarian crisis continues to test the might of neighboring countries, including Poland. As more than a million Ukrainians have fled their war-torn country, the local response is growing as Washingtonians want to help. Federation’s CEO, Gil Preuss, spoke with several local news stations live from the Ukraine border while on one of the first Jewish Federation of North America humanitarian missions along with colleagues from across the continent.
