Six years ago, you traveled on a powerful journey to the former Soviet Union. The shared experience offered a unique insight into the Russian Jewish community’s challenges and renewal, and of course, the opportunity to build lasting friendships and community.
Today the world and region look vastly different. One year after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, the Jewish communities in both countries have been deeply affected by the resounding repercussions and disruptions of war.
Federation and our partners have worked tirelessly to ensure that we can care for those in need, wherever they may be. We invite you, the participants from Federation’s 2017 Women’s Philanthropy Mission to Russia, to reconnect with one another and hear how our partners on the ground are helping the communities we visited during our travels and those impacted by this war.
We look forward to being together, reminiscing about our shared experiences, and deepening our connection to our sisters, brothers, and cousins around the globe.
