Since 1986, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day has commemorated and celebrated Dr. King’s life and commitment to civil rights. Today, it is also the only federal holiday designated as a national day of service to encourage volunteering and civic engagement.
Join Federation partners across DC, MD, Northern VA from January 13th – 16th for virtual and in person opportunities to make a difference for our community and honor Dr. King’s legacy. Together, we can act as a force for good in the world.
By mobilizing in common purpose, we can inspire, build, and sustain our collective future and meet the evolving needs of our community.
