Cocktails & Conversation with the Network

Twice per year, Federation’s Network hosts Cocktails & Conversation, an all-industries event bringing together everyone in our business community. Join us for this spring’s event featuring Boaz Fleischman-Alaluf, Israel’s representative to the World Bank Group Board, who will speak about business and capital markets in Israel since October 7th.

About The Network: As a hub of business, diplomacy, and thought leadership, what happens in Washington, DC matters — on both a national and global scale. About Boaz Fleischman-Alaluf
Boaz serves as a board member at the World Bank Group (WBG), where he represents the State of Israel. In this capacity, he oversees WBG strategies and projects and leads the organization’s engagement with Israel.

Prior to joining the WBG, Boaz served at the Israeli Ministry of Finance as the Senior Director of the Investment and Trade Agreements Division, where he led complex international negotiation processes on international investment treaties and free trade agreements.

In his capacity at the Ministry of Finance, Boaz played a pivotal role in the engagement with the “Abraham Accords” partner countries and led negotiations resulting in the first significant economic agreements of their kind concluded with these countries.

Boaz also served as a member of the Council of the Israeli Federation of Bi-National Chambers of Commerce and Industry and until 2017, he was also a faculty member at the Department of Sociology, Political Science and Communications of the Open University of Israel, where he lectured on Political Science and International Affairs.
