Zimriyah: Celebrating Israel’s 78th Independence Day
Join us for Zimriyah 2.0, a joyful musical celebration of Israel’s 78th Independence Day and a continuation of a new Beth El tradition. Following last year’s successful inaugural Zimriyah, K–5th–grade students will perform beloved Israeli songs in a festive, community-wide celebration led by our Israeli shaliach, Yoel Gleizer.
Zimriyah is a community event where children from kindergarten through 5th grade perform and sing popular Israeli songs, while parents and families come to watch and join in. The event also features two photo stations where participants can take pictures with figures of Golda Meir and David Ben Gurion. At the end of the event, everyone celebrates together with blue-and-white cupcakes, Israeli music playing in the background, and falafel.
