Volunteer in Israel with Kesher Nir Oz

The Jewish Federation of Greater Washington, in partnership with Birthright and Kesher Nir Oz* invite you for an extraordinary 8-day volunteer mission to Israel.

Participants will be based in Tel Aviv and travel across the country for hands-on volunteer work, meaningful encounters that offer a deeper look at Israel’s complexities and everyday life. Along the way, you will meet members of the Nir Oz community, one of the communities hardest hit by the October 7 attacks, as well as Israelis and partners connected to our Greater Washington community.

This is not a typical trip to Israel. It is a chance to contribute in a meaningful way and experience the country through direct, personal connection.

Participation in this mission is subsidized by The Jewish Federation of Greater Washington as part of its broader local Israel engagement work, which aims to build lasting connections between community members in Greater Washington and in Israel.

Register by Monday, June 1. Space is limited and there is strong interest on this mission.
Final trip price may be reduced depending on the number of participants.

*Kesher Nir Oz is a grassroots collaborative project of Ohr Kodesh, Beth El, and B’nai Israel congregations.
