Pride Shabbat at Temple Emanuel

Join us for Pride Shabbat on June 5 at Temple Emanuel in Kensington, MD, an evening celebrating queer pride, Jewish community, and connection.

At 5:30 PM, enjoy pizza and ice cream for everyone. At 6:30 PM, gather for a special Shabbat service on the pavilion featuring music, community, and guest speaker Hila, an Israeli shlicha with the Jewish Federation of Greater Washington.

Hila’s story brings together queer pride, Jewish belonging, and a deep connection to Israel. Drawing from her experiences growing up in Jerusalem, advocating for LGBTQ+ rights in Israel, and building Jewish communities around the world.
