Beth El Good Deeds Day

Good Deeds Day is Sunday, April 12. There are several different ways to get involved in tikkun olam at Beth El including different projects and collections.

Projects include:

-INOVA Blood Drive
-Upper School Bagel Sale for Kibbutz Nir Oz
-Friends of Cabin John Creek Clean Up
-Making Snack Packs for Bethesda Help
-Crafting Red Scarves for Foster Care to Success
-Food Sorting at Manna Food Center
-Toiletry kit assembly for NCCF
-Making sandwiches for Shepherd’s Table

Sandwich Making and Toiletry Kit Assembly is presented by Congregation Beth El in partnership with The Jewish Federation of Greater Washington and the generous support of The Sara and Samuel J. Lessans Good Deeds Day Fund.

Collections include:
-Diaper collection for DC Diaper Bank
-Unused and expired medication collection for safe disposal
-Essential needs collection for Interfaith Works
-Puzzles, games, and book collection for Treehouse Child Advocacy Center
