Welcome our 2020-2021 Next Gen Co-chairs, Samantha Sisisky and Josh Brown

Samantha Sisisky 
Samantha was born and raised in Richmond, Virginia. She moved to Washington, DC in 2014 after spending two years living in Israel. She works at BBYO where she oversees the financial advancement for the organization across ten states for over 4,500 teen members.

She joined Federation’s Young Leadership board in 2018 and previously worked as a professional at The Jewish Federation of Greater Washington’s Women’s Philanthropy.

As Co-Chair of Young Leadership, she wants to inspire young adults in the DC area to invest in the local Jewish community. Samantha lives in Glover Park with her husband and seven-month-old daughter.

Josh Brown
Josh grew up in Chicago and moved to the District of Columbia in 2008 to attend George Washington University. He lives in Glover Park with his wife and dog George.

Josh is the CEO of Brown Strategy Group, a strategic marketing firm that helps causes, companies, and campaigns tell compelling stories through video production, digital advertising, web design, and direct mail.

He worked as a professional at The Jewish Federation of Greater Washington in 2014 and joined Federation’s Young Leadership board in 2019.

Josh believes that the work of Federation is critical to serving the needs of the Greater Washington Jewish Community. He is excited to serve as Co-Chair of Young Leadership to grow our community’s pipeline of future leaders, and help Federation build a stronger and vibrant Jewish Community.
