The I. Edward Kiev Judaica Collection at the Gelman Library houses over 22,000 books, pamphlets, and periodicals, as well as manuscripts, graphic art, and artifacts. The majority of materials date from the 18th through the 20th century, but there are also works that date back to the 15th centuries.
The collection covers the range of Jewish studies, including biblical exegesis and archeology,Jewish history, and modern Hebrew literature.

While the Gelman Library, including its regular Judaica collection, is not open to the public,The I. Edward Kiev Judaica Collection at the Gelman Library is open to the public. The curator of the Kiev Colleciton is Brad Sabin Hill (202 994-2472, hill@gelman.gwu.edu).
