Partnering with Federation
Co-Sponsorship Guidelines
The Jewish Federation of Greater Washington welcomes opportunities to partner on programs that strengthen Jewish life, foster collaboration, and serve both individual and communal needs.
By co-sponsoring events and initiatives, we can combine strengths to create experiences that are meaningful, inclusive, and mission-aligned.
What Is a Co-Sponsorship?
Co-sponsorship means Federation supports an event through one or more of the following:
- A speaker or program content
- Monetary funding
- Marketing or promotional support
- Use of Federation’s name, logo, or professional participation
Eligibility Requirements
To be considered, an event must:
- Submit a request form with details and rationale for Federation’s involvement
- Align with Federation’s mission and values
- Avoid conflicts with existing Federation programming
For Approved Events
For events approved for co-sponsorship, Federation’s name and logo should appear on relevant marketing materials. In some cases, a brief content disclaimer may be required, and any material changes to speakers or program content should be shared with Federation in advance.
Priority Consideration
We prioritize requests from Federation partner agencies, synagogues, and recognized Jewish organizations within Greater Washington.
