Federation’s The Close Up

The Close Up takes a deeper look at emerging trends, transformative ideas and pressing issues from leaders and experts in our community – all from the comfort of your computer or mobile device.

How does The Close Up work?
The Close Up is run in webinar format in which leaders and experts discuss a specific topic using PowerPoint slides to cover the topic. After the presentation, community members may submit questions to be answered by the presenters during a Question and Answer session.

What topics does The Close Up cover?
The program covers any topic that is timely and relevant to our Jewish community! Feel free to suggest topics by emailing info@shalomdc.org.

What if I cannot attend the at the appointed time?
All episodes of The Close Up are recorded and provided to registrants, so make sure to sign up, even if you can’t watch the event live!

Is there a fee to register for The Close Up? How long is an episode?
The Close Up is free to everyone. Sessions are no longer than 60 minutes.

How often does The Close Up occur?
We run a new episode every 2-3 months.
