Located at the corner of Georgia Avenue (RT 97) and Batchellors Forest Road, Judean Gardens is a cemetery for Orthodox, Conservative and Reform affiliations. The cemetery has a Jewish Director and counselors. Judean employs flat-to-the-ground bronze memorial markers in sections to create a park like appearance. A separate upright monument section with a 10-foot aisle is also available for families that wish orthodox burials. Full range of burial services. A chapel is available for funeral services at the cemetery. It also holds High Holy Days Memorial Service annually. The Family Estates consist of 8 to 20 sites per family and a bench with the family name. No one at the time of need is required to come to the cemetery. Items that must be paid for before a burial takes place can be completed by phone. Charges that are due can be charged by phone. Interment authorizations can be faxed to the family or the funeral home for signature. If a death occurs on the Sabbath, the family or the Rabbi can call the memorial counselor or the executive director after the Sabbath, for orthodox families in our upright monument monument section we will accommodate next day burial whenever possible if called immediately after the Sabbath ends. Also has a section for couples where one spouse is Jewish and the other is not Jewish located at adjacent Norbeck Cemetery.
