Adat Shalom is a Reconstructionist congregation and a member of the Chesapeake Region of the Jewish Reconstructionist Federation. We are a participatory congregation of singles and families, providing innovative egalitarian services.
Services utilize musical instruments, multi-media presentations, drama and modern dance. Regular activities include social action projects, educational programs for adults, a religious school for children, and preparation support for Bar and Bat Mitzvahs.
