Michael Jawer has ten years’ experience tutoring B’nai Mitzvah students, and 15 years as a Jewish educator overall. He has worked with kids at Temple Micah in DC and Congregation Adath Jeshurun in suburban Philadelphia, as well as Kol Ami Reconstructionist Congregation in Northern Virginia, where he currently teaches. He is expert in Torah and Haftorah trop (melody) instruction and is well regarded for his patience, humor, and ability to connect with kids. Michael’s rate is $60 per lesson (if driving is required) and $40 by Skype or phone.
