Kehilat Shalom

Kehilat Shalom is a vibrant Jewish community, Conservative synagogue and educational center serving Upper Montgomery County, Maryland. Nestled in a residential neighborhood, our community is egalitarian in both religious and social aspects. Now in our fourth decade, the demographic composition of our membership remains diverse – each of whom contributes to making Kehilat Shalom a fun, social and learning environment and welcoming spiritual home.
During the school year, Tot Shabbat is held one Saturday a month and Junior Congregation is held twice a month. We also have a monthly Simcha Shabbat that celebrates members’ birthdays, anniversaries and other milestones.
