Sophie and Bradley are dynamic leaders driving Next Gen engagement in Jewish life. They have launched and supported numerous programs, empowering young Jewish adults in their 20s, 30s, and 40s to connect with Jewish communal work and philanthropy.
Bradley helped create IMPACT DC, Federation’s signature young leadership event, and chaired The Network, Federation’s platform for Jewish DC-area business professionals to accelerate their involvement in philanthropy. He has also supported the long-term strategy and impact of Federation’s Next Gen programs, serving in leadership roles for Federation’s Young Leadership Board, Ben Gurion Society, Birthright Alumni, and the Jewish Federations of North America’s National Young Leadership Cabinet. In addition, Bradley has been recognized for his outstanding contributions to Federation’s Executive Committee.
Sophie serves as Lion of Judah Chair for Federation’s Women’s Philanthropy and as a member of Federation’s Israel Crisis Relief Fund Allocations Committee. She revitalized Federation’s Young Women’s Coalition, fostering Jewish learning and community building among Next Gen women.
Sophie and Bradley also co-chaired the 2015 Israel YOUR Way Mission and have contributed to several Federation leadership initiatives, shaping the organization’s strategic vision.
Beyond the Jewish community, Sophie is Vice President of the Primary Day Parents Association and a Class Representative for the Landon Parents Association.
Professionally, Bradley is a Principal at H&R Retail and holds a BA and Master’s in Real Estate from George Washington University. In 2023, he was listed in Washington Business Journal’s 40 Under 40. Sophie earned her BA in Business Administration from Emory University and spent nearly a decade at Booz Allen Hamilton.
Both Sophie and Bradley have been honored with Federation’s Jerome J. Dick Young Leadership Award for their remarkable philanthropic impact. They reside in Bethesda, MD, with their three children.
