Marcie L. Brecher
Marcie Brecher joined West & Feinberg as an associate in 2013.
Ms. Brecher concentrates her practice in the areas of estate planning, probate and trust administration. In 2019 and 2020, Ms. Brecher was recognized as a Rising Star in Maryland and D.C. by Super Lawyers.
Ms. Brecher began her career in the charitable arena, working for over a decade as a major gift officer for national non-profit organizations. In this capacity, she discussed various philanthropic giving vehicles, including legacy gifts and charitable trusts, with individuals and families.
In law school, she was the Executive Articles Editor for the Journal of Business and Technology Law. Ms. Brecher received the Steven J. Mandell Scholarship Award in May 2011 from the Maryland State Bar Association Business Law Section for outstanding performance in business law coursework.

Brad brings insight, as well as financial expertise, to his planning sessions with clients because he’s been there: he’s experienced many of the issues you’re facing too, whether it’s making smart choices about planning and saving, saving to purchase a home, creating a savings safety net, starting a family, paying off student debt, or saving for retirement.
And as a business owner, he also understands how important it is to have the right financial tools to protect your company and your employees.
With over 15 years experience in the financial industry, Brad is a frequent media contributor to such publications as The Wall Street Journal, CNBC, MarketWatch, Business Insider, and Investopedia, and the host of Launch Financial podcast. He has an Master of Science in Finance from American University’s Kogod School of Business and a B.A. in International Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Born and raised in Rockville, Maryland, Brad enjoys a strong connection to his community and contributes to a variety of organizations including The Rockville Chamber of Commerce, The Gaithersburg Chamber of Commerce, the Jewish Federation of Greater Washington and the Montgomery County Coalition for the Homeless. In his spare time he relaxes with baseball – especially his beloved Nats, football – both NFL and Fantasy, and spending time with his wife and two young children.
