Doing Good: Mitzvah Mavens

Mitzvah Mavens
is a program of The Jewish Federation of Greater Washington’s Women’s Philanthropy. As part of Federation’s Doing Good social action initiative, Mitzvah Mavens invites women of all ages with a passion for tikkun olam (repairing the world) to take part in year-round service projects with partner agencies and local organizations committed to making a positive difference for our community by helping those in need.

Join us for the 2019 Mitzvah Mavens Holocaust Survivors Luncheon

The Jewish Federation of Greater Washington and the Jewish Social Service Agency (JSSA) invite you to spend an afternoon having lunch with and learning from Holocaust survivors living in our community.

New to this year’s luncheon, we would like to invite you to bring family and friends over the age of 12. Bearing witness to these stories of survival, and spending time discussing our shared Jewish experiences and history is a unique opportunity that we’re so pleased to be able to share with our community.

Sunday, May 19
11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
