Federation’s Giving Week

Now through May 21st , TRIPLE your gift during #ShalomDCGivingWeek!

Join us for Federation’s 7th Giving Week — an opportunity to come together to make an impact, founded on our shared values and vision for a vibrant Jewish future. Our communal accomplishments are only possible because of donors like you who care about the future of our community and want to make a meaningful, long-lasting impact.

Your support empowers Federation to mobilize our Jewish community in common purpose and meet our community’s collective needs. Join other caring community members and support the causes you’re most passionate about.

Make a gift today. Together, we can guide our community toward a more vibrant, secure, and inclusive future.

Keep our Jewish communal institutions — and the people they serve — safe and secure from the threats of rising antisemitism.

With support from our community, Federation has delivered over $1M in security services across our Jewish community through our partnership with Secure Community Network, including 28 facility assessments and 261 training courses with over 7,000 attendees and 126 security consultations; and $7.35M in federal grants for physical security enhancements, and the launch of a public incident reporting tool for all community members.

Assist and care for Jews wherever they are and whenever they need us.

Your support will help meet the needs of Jewish communities in Israel and more than 70 countries around the world, in times of crisis and calm. In Ukraine, over 1,212 tons (more than 2.7M pounds) of medical equipment, clothing, food, and hygiene products have been distributed; 239,851 individuals have received nutritious food, and 80,817 individuals have been urgently evacuated from danger zones.

Jewish communal experiences cultivate and strengthen Jewish identity.

We’re building a vibrant Jewish community where people connect and engage meaningfully with Jewish life and each other through summer and overnight camps, in local synagogues, and groups and organizations that foster and sustain ongoing relationships.

Together, we are fostering a welcoming community where every person feels they belong.

Together, we’re supporting organizations serving young adults to build their capacity and confidence in disability inclusion, bridge the gap between their values of inclusion and practice of inclusion, and remove barriers to participation for young adults with disabilities.
