Women’s Philanthropy African American History Museum Outing

Join Federation’s Women’s Philanthropy for a Day of Learning and Reflection

Please join us and fellow travelers from our Civil Rights Journey for an inspiring day of learning and reflection. We will begin the day with a visit to the Smithsonian’s National Museum of African American History and Culture, followed by a facilitated discussion and luncheon with Rabbi Sabrina Sojourner. Together we will explore ways to keep the insights from our travels alive and what it means to take actionable steps to strengthen our commitment to change for a more just and equitable world.

Cost:
$75

Meet at the 14th Street and Constitution Ave entrance at 10:00 AM. (Entry time is 10:15 AM)
Accessible from Federal Triangle and Smithsonian (Mall exit) Metro stations on the Blue, Orange, and Silver Lines.

The museum visit will be followed by lunch and a facilitated discussion at the Edlavitch DCJCC.
Kosher dietary laws observed.

We will be coordinating rides from the museum to the JCC. Please indicate on your registration if you would like a ride.

The day’s itinerary will be provided upon registration.
Registration closes on Thursday, June 1st.
