Intergenerational Mission to Panama February 20 – 24, 2025

Join us on a powerful and unique journey to Panama. This shared experience will offer insights into this Central American Jewish community’s challenges and strengths, and provide an opportunity to build lasting friendships and community across generations from the Greater Washington area. During our time in Panama, we will also meet with our partners in the region and see the impact of your support. We look forward to being together and deepening our connection to our global community.

Cost & Subsidies

$4,400 per traveler. Through a generous funder, The Jewish Federation is able to provide travel subsidies for those under 40. The subsidies Federation is able to provide is as follows:

  • For those under 40, Federation is able to provide a $1,000 subsidy;
  • For those under 30, Federation is able to provide a $1,800 subsidy.

Cost does not include airfare or insurance.

Eligibility & Requirements

  • Resident in the Greater Washington, DC region
  • Valid passport for a minimum of six months from the start date of the trip
  • Next Gen Leaders must be part of the Ben-Gurion Society, a contribution of $1,000+ to JFGW Annual Campaign
  • Multi Gen Leaders must make a contribution of $10,000+ to The Jewish Federation’s Annual Campaign, or new Multi Gen Leaders must make a contribution of $5,000+ to The Jewish Federation’s Annual Campaign
