Join Federation’s Young Leadership and Jewish Food Experience® as we taste wines from across Israel to identify differences by region and learn how Israel’s irrigation techniques utilized in growing grapes are being implemented by farmers around the world!
Accustomed to a hot, arid environment, Israeli farmers are leaders in pushing the frontiers of water conservation and irrigation. These methods, developed in Israel, have been adopted by countries in Africa, Asia and North America—nations with similar climate and water concerns. Learn how one small country has revolutionized the wine industry—one glass at a time.
Tasting includes 2 red wines, 2 white wines and 1 dessert wine, including light food pairings for each. Plus enjoy s’mores for a sweet treat!
While this program will feature vegetarian and dairy bites, please note that this will not be a Kosher event.
