Helping Our Children Thrive Through The Summer Months
Join us for a conversation with Jonnel Hector*, Director of Guidance at Gesher Jewish Day School, as we build on the insights shared by Tovah Klein, author of Raising Resilience: How to Help Our Children THRIVE in Times of Uncertainty. This session is designed to be interactive, supportive, and grounded in real family experiences. Come with questions, reflections, or simply the desire to connect with other parents.
What we’ll talk about:
- Creating predictable yet flexible summer routines
- Supporting emotional regulation during unstructured time
- Encouraging independence and confidence
- Navigating social dynamics, camps, and downtime
- Strengthening parent-child connection in everyday moments
Open to parents and caregivers of children who want to foster resilience, confidence, and joy throughout the summer. Best for children 0 – 8. Childcare provided.
