11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.
Sixth and I: 600 I Street NW, Washington, DC 20001

Federation strives to expand opportunities to connect with Israel and Jewish communities around the world. Craft two sets of matching Shabbat candles, one for yourself, and one to be brought to Budapest with our Women’s Philanthropy mission. As you light your candles each week, you can think about our global community who’s doing the same around the world.

Partner: University of Maryland (UMD) Hillel
11:00 a.m.
University of Maryland (UMD) Hillel: 7612 Mowatt Lane, College Park, MD 20740

Federation works to empower all community members to deepen their connection to Jewish community, values, culture and tradition. Join us for a casual brunch to impart your advice as a local young leader to UMD Hillel seniors to deepen their connection to the Greater Washington Jewish community outside of their college Hillel experience. Students will ask questions about ways to engage in the DC Jewish community, how to begin looking for jobs and more.
