Jewish Women Artists surveys the 19th and 20th centuries of Jewish female creativity in the visual arts. \nEnjoy the art of 21 Jewish women included in the slideshow as well as the in-depth narration. \nThe presentation will be recorded. All registrants will receive a link to the recording\, which will be available for 14 days. \nFunds raised from our public programs will be used to assist organizations that could not otherwise afford our regular program fees.

Dr. David Weinfeld of Rowan University will be giving a talk that traces the history of two figures\, Jewish immigrant Horace Kallen and Black philosopher Alain Locke\, whose conversations helped shape the idea of cultural pluralism—the precursor to modern multiculturalism. Panelists will explore the experiences and differences between American and Israeli military service\, discuss levels of American Jewish support for the armed forces\, and reflect on the significance of service to both countries. The panel discussion aims to deepen community understanding about the U.S. and Israeli militaries\, especially personnel and their families who serve\, by demystifying and resolving common misconceptions about military service. \nPlease RSVP by November 1.
