We will also leave plenty of free time for families to hang out and get to know each other. \nThis class will be led by Jen Radosh\, Bender JCC’s J Family Programs Director. Jen has over a decade of experience creating and teaching programs\, events\, classes\, and playdates for families with children ages 0–5. She holds a Master’s degree in Public Health with a concentration in Maternal and Child Health\, bringing both expertise and heart to every class she leads.

SUMMARY:Hybrid: Tisha b’Av: “Legend of Destruction” film & discussion\, and Eicha
DESCRIPTION:Come and experience the film Legend of Destruction\, winner of 4 Israeli Academy Awards. “A gripping political thriller\,” according to the New York Times. Join us at Oseh Shalom as CJC\, Kol HaLev and Mishkan Torah come together to commemorate the fall of the Temples in Jerusalem in a special way. In addition to hearing the chanting of Eicha/ Lamentations\, we invite you to a viewing of the powerful film. The film tells the story of the fall of Jerusalem and the Second Temple. See the parallels between history and our world today. Through the discussion afterward\, we’ll explore the power we each have to create a different reality.  \n•	6 pm: Veggie/ Dairy/Parve potluck\n•	6:50 pm: Opening Framing & Chanting of Chapter 1 of Eicha\n•	7:15 pm: Film\n•	(8:30 pm: Tisha b’Av fast begins)\n•	8:45 pm: Discussion\n•	9:30 pm: Closing\n•	9:35 pm: Chanting of the rest of Eicha\nPlease register to attend either in person or on Zoom\, and to sign up for the potluck.  If you’re not available on July 22\, you can view the film at home from July 11-24. Register to receive a film link. Everything except for the potluck is hybrid!  When you register\, you will receive a Zoom link and a link to watch the film. You will watch the film on your own and then rejoin Zoom to participate in the discussion and the rest of the evening.
