Join us for a pre-Lag Ba’Omer bonfire! We will have s’mores\, light snacks\, and drinks to enjoy\, along with a short discussion on the history and some of the cultural traditions surrounding this often-overlooked holiday. Bring a friend or three: just make sure they’re registered so we know how many folks to expect. We wouldn’t want to run out of s’mores! \nWe will send the location to attendees a few days before. Participants will review excerpts from traditional and modern ethical wills and engage in values-clarification exercises to spark writing ideas. We’ll also discuss audience\, format\, timing\, and approaches to sharing your ethical will — with special attention to intergenerational and interfaith family conversations. \nThis program is a part of the Bender JCC’s Our Jewish Legacy Series.
