PACE

P.A.C.E is an organization providing educational and emotional support groups for new and second time around mothers in the DC area. They offer groups for new mothers as well as for the second time around moms. Groups are led by professional mental health educators trained in the fields of infant development, parenting skills, family relationships and group dynamics. All of the leaders are experienced mothers. There is a specific topic discussed each week. Some time is set aside so that members may share their experiences and discuss subjects of mutual concern. The group members are encouraged to meet at other times during the week.
