Saks Fifth Avenue Tysons Galleria teamed up with The Federation to bring women a special morning of fashion, philanthropy and shopping on May 6, 2012. Women who stepped up with a new or increased gift of at least $365 to the annual campaign were invited to come out for a celebration of their impact on the Jewish community.
This unique event gave women the opportunity to learn more about Elie Tahari, Estee Lauder, Stuart Weitzman (to name only a few!)—all famous Jewish designers. Even better, 10 women walked away with a fabulous prize for attending:

What’s better than learning about these designers? Shopping for their pieces! Saks Fifth Avenue is graciously giving 10% of proceeds from any purchases attendees made BACK to The Federation! We look forward to sharing this amount with you soon.
Many women at the event also took part in becoming a Mitzvah Maven. We collected a huge assortment of clothing, to be given to the Interfaith Clothing Center, a center that provides clothing to people in-need—some of whom are clients of our partner agencies, the Jewish Coalition Against Domestic Abuse and the Jewish Social Service Agency.
