In 1991, Gatorade released an iconic commercial. “I Wanna Be Like Mike,” displayed children and adults mimicking the National Basketball Association’s MVP while Michael Jordan drank Gatorade between flashes of video of him dribbling, shooting, and dunking. The song echoes in the ears and forever has linked the Jordan brand with the sports drink.
