Young Leadership is the entry point for young adults to become involved in the Greater Washington Jewish community. We provide a social connection, networking opportunities, leadership development, philanthropic advancement and a deepening of Jewish knowledge in an effort to ensure that the communal values of one generation will be carried into the next.

Young Leadership Welcomes Sara Weiner

In March, Young Leadership welcomed Sara Weiner to the professional team as the Melvin Cohen Birthright Israel NEXT associate. Sara is thrilled to be working to enhance the post-Birthright experience for alumni in the Greater Washington area. She comes to Federation from The George Washington University, where she served as Assistant Director of Admissions and also received her Master’s degree in Higher Education.  Sara is no stranger to the Birthright Israel NEXT community. She went on a Taglit-Birthright Israel: DC Community Trip in 2010 and the Birthright Israel NEXT DC Alumni Leadership Mission in 2011.
