Federation funding supports programs that reach our community both within and beyond the walls of Jewish institutions.  These include:

• 8 local Jewish day schools for more than 3,000 students currently enrolled
• Congregational Education Programs for more than 13,000 enrolled students through our Initiative in Congregational Education grants
• The Partnership for Jewish Life and Learning
• Community lectures, classes, cultural events and holiday celebrations at area congregations, JCCs in DC, Maryland, and Virginia, The Partnership for Jewish Life and Learning, and the Jewish Community Relations Council of Greater Washington
• Jewish Leadership Institute: Leadership development and education courses for lay leaders and Jewish communal professionals.
• Regional Youth Groups
• Camping and Retreat Experiences
• Hillel at 11 area campuses
• Scholarships and inclusion support
• Vocational training

Educational needs and resources change often.  Federation understands those evolutions and knows how to allocate funding to the most deserving and necessary causes.
