Hevrat Shalom is a full service congregation with Shabbat, High Holy Day, and special holiday services; an established religious school, and social and adult education programs; and life cycle services including:Bar Mitzvah, Bat Mitzvah, Weddings etc.
Hevrat Shalom is an inclusive congregation that welcomes everyone, including interfaith families. Services, which are Reform style with a traditional flavor, contain both Hebrew and English text and songs. Shabbat services generally include Sabbath evening prayers and a brief Torah study session with the Rabbi and are family friendly, often with children’s participation.
